Spring Break: Austin, Texas (March 13-16, 2011)

Good food, good times, good memories. We were in Austin for 4 days, 3 nights, and we were just in time for SXSW. We were able to hit flatstock 2011 while we were there, and it was fantastic. We toured at the Livestrong headquaters, Pentagram's Austin branch, and Sanders/Wingo. It was a very inspiring trip. You should be able to view more photos by visiting the album I made on facebook.

Physical Blogging?

This is sweet because the guy picks up trash from specific events and then turns it into "art" and sells it. Obama's Inauguration trash cubes, a parade... they're all little commemorative  nic-naks from a specific place in time, much like a blog. Instead of a space on a website with a few photos, it's a physical cube with a few chunks from the day itself.

Physical blogging.

MMEXP: poster inspiration

I know we need to be past the "ideas" and "visual inspiration" phase (if not now than SUPER FRICKING SOON), but I just ffffound these and I really, really enjoy them. To the point of being super inspired. It's 1am. My brain won't shut off. And this is the kind of stuff I'm thinking about.

MMEXP: Web 2.0005

T2 posted a link on facebook of 32 "beautiful single page sites." The brief body copy was obviously written by someone that doesn't boast fluent English skills, but it still makes a good point (that single page sites are more beautiful and convenient if done correctly and that they yield interesting results). 1, 8 and 25 each have specific things that I particularly enjoyed. I'm not saying any single one of these sites is perfect, but a few of them have inspired me. So why don't you check it out already?

Inspiration, fall 2010

I think these are pretty, I'm sure this post will grow. Above are all ffffound imags. The first below is a quicksilver advertisement found on their site. The second image is by Atget Mouth, quite possibly my new favorite photographer. The third image is from Landor's page. The rest of those are from ffffound.
