I think it shows that we understood each other very well throughout this process. Your final image feel like a natural step up from the image I gave you. This might just be me but it seems like the message of the piece has evolved throughout the process. The speed is absent from the final image but I do not feel like it is even necessary at this stage anymore.
The image screams consumerism to me and the negativity surrounding it. You have a middle class woman that weight down with her "ball and chain" with her need and desire to buy and spend all the money that is given to her. The ironic thing to me about the woman is that her need to spend is in actuality her punishment.
I interpret the man in the suit offering her the money as credit corporations offering the woman more credit to continue spending, but also to continue her suffering.
I agree with the use of color and the use of the construction paper. I feel like the colors properly reflect the consumer society while also being in stark contrast to the underlying meaning. The flatness of the paper to me reflects the flatness of the people and the culture and how shallow it ultimately is.
